Critical Mass Vancouver June 2006

I'm a cyclist... do about 600 miles a month (I do not own a car)... have worked in the cycling industry for 23 years.

I once did a CM in Denver... total chaos and control all in one event.

I now live in Austin and there is a CM that happens here once a month... I plan on being in the next one.

as for numbers, the conservative count is 1,835 riders. there were more probably 2,050 riders (and 20 dogs).

thanks for the video of the CM, I saw my daughter and my ownself. It was a blast to have sooo many riders out there taking over.

BTW- if you are interested in coming down to check out the Carnival Band, we are always looking for new players. We practise at the seniors centre at Britannia Community Centre every Monday night 7.30 - 10pm
