Hello, thanks for visiting my site!

I've been an Internet professional since 1995 when I worked on an early version of the American Memory Project digitizing historical materials at the Library of Congress. I've had a huge variety of jobs since then, and have become more of an "Information Specialist" than a librarian. I primarily do research, writing, and digital content management.

I'm also a musician, almost novelist, activist, and a proud eccentric. I generally blog about things that I feel might be of interest or entertaining to others, but sometimes I just write about what I'm up to for my friends & especially my Mom (hi Mom!)
