Toronto Skyline at Sunrise with Winter Steam

I have been very lucky to have nice places to stay while in transition! Here’s the view from my current abode, taken early in the morning from the 23rd floor, and sped up:

philosophy-wise I’m leaning towards this sort of thing Now

wordless poetry

not much to say today

wordless practicing

In this practice session, I relax and forget the camera is running about 35 seconds in…

rainbow day in Steeltown

This morning I had a doubt-y moment about being here and asked for Hamilton to show me something beautiful….

John Street Rainbow

“we belong”

A folksy cover version of one of my favourite love songs. Also check out the original 80s hit, a classic early MTV staple.

“Oh Beautiful Gaia”

A pretty song from the United Church of Canada’s delightfully progressive More Voices hymnal…

Video travelog of the first night on the road in the move across Canada…

Amazing Grace

Decided to record this tonight while I was packing to hit the road….

TEXT:

take a moment
and STOP
remember…
everything that is going on
every 3D appearance
all the stories
are mere illusions
tiny temporary sparks
impermanent!

see the BIG picture
all existance is ONE

Now

go inward
breathe
notice whats real
only Love

Now
Love Now

and if your Now is dark
Love it alll
(all the more)
Love the dark
as part of the Oneness
for its perfect lessons
and bless it on its way

because…

its all One
Now

life happens this Way
for your benefit
always (all ways)

only Love
Now
Love Now

after a week on the Autoharp…

pure melody

After yesterday’s recording session with incredibly complex software & electronic equipment, today’s music project was quite simple in comparison.

I made this in one take & decided it was perfect as is, enjoy!

microdebut

After my last video, I received several encouraging messages which I greatly appreciate.

I’m thinking of using alwaysadapting.com for a professional website URL instead…

Until then, I’m going to do my best to relax and focus on music!

flute flourish in F

I’m cleaning out the files on my 5 year old Imac G4 in preparation for my soon to arrive Macbook Pro and found this flute video from last August I never posted…

ebony & melody

I’ve rediscovered my piccolo, a fun and very portable instrument!

atrium flute

I was in Victoria, BC last week and played the flute in the beautiful atrium at the Victoria Public Library. A sitar player who was there busking asked if he could videotape me and I thank him for uploading a few melodies to Youtube!

also two other videos:

flute in the kitchen

Here’s a video of me playing along with music in the kitchen (something I enjoy doing because it has the best acoustics in the house.) The recording doesn’t really do the way it sounds justice.

The track I’m playing along with is from the compilation “Gruen024″ at www.stadtgruenlabel.net (look under “releases”) the track is “Sprenkler” (lots of nice music at this site!)

office organization

Here’s a peek at my quirky little office and extremely preliminary personal information management system…

after a week on the guitar…

warning: this post contains a Country melody

Big thanks to my friend Stevie for loaning me a guitar. It is giving me so much joy during an intense time in my life!

books I like: Meditation in a New York Minute

Here’s a new book review video on the amazing Meditation in a New York Minute: Super Calm for the Super Busy.

I will be doing videos a lot more often from now on as I really enjoy the process. I have a lot of room to improve in terms of presence in front of the camera and technical skills however I’m going to let myself be a beginner and keep having fun with it.

This video also features some flute playing, though a the low end microphone in the wind does not quite capture the sound…

teddy bear’s picnic

I am lucky enough to appear in the first “Illuminated and Glowing Travels of Chocobear” video playing flute in Stanley Park.

A fun afternoon indeed.

learning to be the serenity I wish to see

Here’s a video about learning to relax amidst noisy surroundings when one’s true priority is Peace.

books I like: "Handbook to Higher Consciousness"

Here’s a book I need to read a few more times…

planetary purification

books I like, episode one

I’ve decided to start doing more video with the little camera I have rather than waiting for better AV equipment to manifest.

Here’s a short book review video for one of my favourite titles on love & relationships:
