things to phase out
complaining
jealousy
and
worry
all have the opposite effects
that you're aiming for
jealousy
and
worry
all have the opposite effects
that you're aiming for
investigations, insight, and shameless optimism from the edge of the not so distant future

1. Complaining - Gotta be the biggee. Never helps. Closely associated with something called "whining". Start each morning all shiny and new. Definitely responds to self-discipline.
2. Jealousy - This one's so weird. Even when I feel it creeping up inside of me it seems like my little puppet strings are being jerked around by aliens. How could I not be happy for someone else's successes? Very strange.
3. Worry?? What me?? For myself, it's an easy one to shrug and laugh at. Sometimes an occasional flash of anxiety but for just myself...well...I know I'll always stumble through somehow. My own antics can be hilarious retrospectively. But I do sometimes worry about the health and well-being of others who are special to me. I can't seem to extend it to the other 6 billion people...just a few. This wee worry is like a little evening prayer I just can't feel guilty about.

so true, oh so true,
Also never forget to pay your tickets!
Never criticize, complain, or codemn.
Put your eggs in one basket and watch that basket!
