Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon, Capricorn Rising
I've been thinking about the whole idea of horoscopes and "what sign are you" etc. I admit that I check my horoscope out on the Internet fairly frequently, but I only like a few select sites.
I'm not sure if being born on a certain day on an artificial calendar really means anything, though it seems that there are galactic energetic cyles which affect us all simultaneously, coming and going like the weather. Some days, everything is just more intense for everybody.
I'm not really concerned about whether astrology is "true" or not, but I do find it interesting & worth exploring. Here are the sites I really like. They all feature exceptionally good writing & inspirational, timely insight.
Free Will Astrology
Brezny is pure gold. He's one that will be quoted far into the future and remembered for his literary might at a pivotal time in history.
Astro.com
Detailed astrology that takes into account where and at what time you were born as well as other more "advanced" astrological information. Some free, some for a fee.
Phil Booth
The dailies from the Toronto Star which are really quite awesome.
Daily Om Astrology
Emails a beautifully written horoscope to you every day. Check out the one below, which I believe is great advice for anyone of any sign!

In Harmony With Life
Scorpio Daily Horoscope
Feelings of contentment may well up in your soul today. Though your schedule may be full and your social life quite busy, you may have found a balance between seeing to your responsibilities and your need for relaxation and fun. If you haven’t found that balance yet, you may be looking over your schedule with the intent of creating that balance. Consider your personal life, your professional life, and any instances where these two areas collide today. Ask yourself which items on your calendar can be rescheduled so that you can manage your time more efficiently.
Finding a balance between what you have to do and what you want to do can help you achieve blissful harmony. When you make time for both parts of your life, you don’t ever need to feel like you are neglecting one for the other or that something is lacking. You can fulfill your obligations to your work and relationships while having enough time to satisfy the needs of your soul. Your soul can be at peace as you work and play because you are secure in the knowledge that you have created ample time for both. You never have to work or play halfheartedly because you are trying to do both things at once. Embrace a philosophy of balance today, and you will feel like you are in harmony with life.

Well-I was looking around on google and found your site. I'M SO GLAD. I am so interested in the hippie era (60/70s) and have read numerous books on it. I'm in High School and don't really enjoy it-but this time of my life is really crucial-I am going to be making large decisions. I am turning into a hippie...somewhat. I was always a spiritual girl-always loved rock, never liked to get too crazy about something. And, I just LOVE to plant gardens (and am currently raising a Boston fern named Hester!). I just wanted to let you know that your articles are really interesting and I am going to check back constantly what interesting topics you have to chat about. I'm definitely telling my friends about your site! Good job-sorry for typing so much.
Hi there - I spotted your page and think it's a great read... thanks! I'm not so much interested in astrology (my fiancee probably has forgotten more than I will ever know!) but my think has always been I Ching. Perhaps in the end both achieve a similar thing - namely making you look at life from a slightly different point of view - which will probably bring you to the answer you've been looking for. Keep up the good work! Euan
Found you on a reverse blogger search. Love your tag line, "The Practical Hippie". :)
